Time to get your WREATH on!!

Hi All!

I feel like I haven't blogged in forever. I KNOW that I have not been doing my Monday/Wednesday posting.....we are coming back into our busy busy time and I think we will scale down to 1 posting a week.

Since Summer is coming to an end (I know, it hurts but we have to continue on!) we have been having a big sale on our more summery health and beauty lines. We have LUCIA candles, room spray and soaps 40% off, as well as ARCHIPELAGO, ECOYA, DAYNA DECKER AND VOLUSPA....it's an awesome time to come in and stock up your gift closet and maybe find something for yourself along the way.

ALSO! We have new Lollia scents and candles (In love is our new scent) They are so very pretty and deserve a good smell. We are now carrying TOCCA. A beautiful line made in New York. Lush and complicated notes make up 3 scents for your to try. Cleopatra (my personal fav) Stella and Florence.

We have new everything! Vases, hanging vases, cool planters, decorative pumpkins, air ferns, succulents galore, and fall wreaths! See pics above for some of our newest wreaths so far this year. We have been attaching air ferns and other dried goodies to make them come to life a little bit more. We have nice warm colours and unique ideas!

We would also like to welcome back Lauren to Special Moments, she was gone for a few months and we missed her dearly. WELCOME BACK LAUREN!!!

I better run now, it's been a busy day and I have bouquets to make!

Mimosa Trees

I love mimosa trees.

They are so beautiful. Last week we discovered one in the gardens here at the Park and Tilford. At first I didn't know what it was as I have only seen the mimosa trees with small yellow ball-flowers. (Also super cute) After a quick google search for "pink puff ball tree" I fell in love.

Apparently they are quite intrusive and can cause many people to have allergies to them...but I don't care...I STILL love them!!

They attract butterflies and hummingbirds. Everyone loves those things. They are hardy and can grow up to 40 feet tall!!

Good Morning!

Everything is well in the world this Monday....and that's how I like it!

So far this week is going great! I've changed both the window displays and cleaned out the cooler. Phew!

I also did tons more plantings and bouquets. . YAY!

We are getting more and more attention for our terrariums and air plants. Everyone loves them, and I can't blame them. There is something about having plants completely enclosed in glass that makes it feel like you are peering into another small world......maybe that's just me...

Either way, I am slowing transforming my own home to have as many little worlds as I can fit in. All shapes and sizes, nooked here and there.

Continuing this week is a great sale on all our soaps and bubble baths - 30% off any brand in the store. Come in and replenish your gift closet. Feel free to pick up one for yourself at the same time!!

Sorry for my skipped posting this past Monday...it was BC DAY and I was out enjoying our beautiful city like the rest of the province.

Iris is back from vacation today! YAY!

We got another stunning auction yesterday. Favs for the weeks are defiantly ZINNIAS and DAHLIAS....see pics below. Beaaaaauuuuuuutiful colors and so so fresh....mmm.....summer flowers.

We have tons of weddings the rest of the month to keep us busy. Come on in and visit us!!
